Vibe Tycoon Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 September 2026
Applies to: the Vibe Tycoon Android application

Summary

Vibe Tycoon has no accounts and no game backend. Your company, resources, agents, profile choices, settings, and progress are game data stored in the app's local storage on your Android device. Vibe Tycoon does not collect or automatically transmit that game data.

The app includes RevenueCat to provide in-app purchase and restoration features. When that purchase service is enabled, it processes limited technical and purchase-service data as described below. The app also includes Google's Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK for optional rewarded video: an ad plays only when you choose to watch one, and Vibe Tycoon shows no banner or interstitial ads. Vibe Tycoon does not include a general-purpose analytics SDK. It does send a limited set of anonymous gameplay events to Google Analytics so we can understand how the game is played overall. Those events carry no name, account, contact details, or persistent device or advertising identifier. You can turn that off in Settings.

Data handled by the app and its providers

Local game data

Game progress, resources, locally chosen company/profile details, and settings remain in Android app storage. We do not receive them and cannot recover them for you.

If you deliberately use the app's Share action, Android sends the company summary shown to you to the app or person you choose. Vibe Tycoon does not receive a copy. The recipient you choose handles that shared text under its own terms.

Purchase-service data

When RevenueCat is enabled, it generates and processes a random anonymous app user identifier and limited technical information about the app and device, such as device type, operating system, app or SDK version, locale, and service-use timestamps. Vibe Tycoon does not connect that identifier to a name, email address, account, or game progress.

When you view an offering or check an entitlement, RevenueCat processes the information needed for that request. When you buy or restore something, Google Play processes the payment or transaction and RevenueCat receives the related purchase record. Depending on the request, this can include the product, purchase/subscription status, transaction and expiry times, and the Google Play purchase token or receipt. Vibe Tycoon does not receive your payment card details; Google handles payment details under its own privacy terms.

This data is used to:

Advertising

Vibe Tycoon includes Google's Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK so you can choose to watch an optional rewarded video in exchange for an in-game reward. Advertising is never shown on its own: there are no banner or interstitial ads, and a rewarded video plays only after you deliberately choose to watch one. You can play the whole game without ever watching an ad.

The app asks for your consent before it requests any ad. If you decline personalized advertising you can still choose to watch rewarded videos, but those ads are served without personalization. When a rewarded video is requested or shown, Google's ad SDK may collect and process your Android advertising identifier, your IP address, device and app information, and information about how you interact with the ad, such as impressions, views, and clicks. Google uses this to serve and measure ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to detect invalid traffic and fraud. Where you have consented to personalized advertising, Google may also use your advertising identifier to select ads based on your interests.

Vibe Tycoon itself does not receive or store your advertising identifier. Google processes it as an independent provider under its own privacy terms, and you can reset or delete your advertising identifier and limit ad personalization at any time in Android Settings under Privacy, Ads.

When a rewarded video is shown, Vibe Tycoon reports the resulting ad revenue to RevenueCat — the ad network, ad unit, placement, format, and revenue amount, but not your advertising identifier — so ad revenue and purchase revenue appear together in one report. See Gameplay analytics for what RevenueCat does and does not receive.

Gameplay analytics

The app sends a limited set of gameplay events to Google Analytics (GA4) over an encrypted HTTPS connection, using Google's Measurement Protocol. We use them only to understand play in aggregate, such as how long sessions last, how far players progress, which upgrades are bought, and where the purchase flow succeeds or fails.

Each event contains an event name from a fixed list, bounded numbers such as cash or reputation earned, fixed in-game content identifiers, and context such as the app's save format version and your in-game company stage. Events are tagged with a random identifier that is created each time the app launches and is never saved, so events from different launches cannot be linked to each other or to you.

The app does not send names, email addresses, contacts, account IDs, advertising identifiers, persistent device or install identifiers, free text, save contents, or purchase receipts to Google Analytics. As with any internet request, the connection itself exposes your IP address and basic device information to Google, which Google processes under its own privacy terms.

The app does not send gameplay events, contact details, or advertising identifiers to RevenueCat. Its app-side integration is limited to the purchase-service functions described above, plus the ad-revenue reporting described under Advertising, which carries the ad network, ad unit, placement, format, and revenue amount but never your advertising identifier.

The policy and Google Play Data safety answers must be reviewed before any advertising, account, cloud-save, or other new data-processing service is added, or before the analytics events change what they contain. Advertising and the AdMob integration were reviewed for that purpose when rewarded video shipped.

Third parties by function

ProviderFunctionData it handles
RevenueCatProvides purchase offerings, validation, entitlement status, restoration, and blended ad-revenue reportingAnonymous app user identifier, limited app/device technical information, purchase/subscription records, and ad-revenue totals (network, ad unit, placement, format, amount)
Google Play Billing (Google)Processes Android in-app payments and supplies transaction statusPayment and transaction information, including purchase tokens supplied to the purchase service
Google Mobile Ads / AdMob (Google)Serves the optional rewarded video ads that a player chooses to watchAdvertising identifier, IP address, device and app information, and ad interaction data such as impressions, views, and clicks
Google Analytics (Google)Aggregate gameplay analyticsA random per-launch identifier, gameplay events from a fixed list, bounded gameplay values, and the network information any HTTPS request carries
OneSignalDelivers push notifications, and only when you have turned them onA device push token, limited app and device technical information, and the notification content we send

Each provider is responsible for protecting the data it processes under its published privacy and security terms and applicable law. RevenueCat and Google Play Billing do not receive game progress from Vibe Tycoon. Google Analytics receives only the gameplay event values described above, never your save file. AdMob receives no game progress or save data, only the ad request and the information Google's SDK collects to serve and measure an ad.

Push notifications. Notifications are optional and stay off until you turn them on in Settings. When you do, the app registers with OneSignal, which assigns a device push token and processes limited technical information about the app and device so a notification can be delivered. We send notification content only — such as a reminder that an offline-production reserve has run dry — and we do not send your name, email address, contacts, free text, save contents, or purchase records to OneSignal. Turning notifications off in Settings or in Android stops delivery, and you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles: the only ads in Vibe Tycoon are the rewarded videos you choose to watch, and any personalization of those ads is Google's processing under its own terms, not ours.

Retention and deletion

Local game data. Game data remains in Android app storage while that storage exists. You can remove it by clearing Vibe Tycoon's storage in Android Settings or by uninstalling the app. Because we never receive this data, there is no server-side game record for us to delete or restore.

Purchase-service data. RevenueCat and Google retain purchase and service records as needed to provide purchase status and restoration, protect their services, and meet legal obligations, under their respective policies. Some transaction records may need to be retained even after a deletion request.

Gameplay analytics. Google Analytics keeps event data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months, which are the retention settings on our analytics property. Events are also exported daily to a Google BigQuery dataset in our Google Cloud project for aggregate analysis. Because events are tied only to a random identifier that changes every launch, we cannot find the events that came from a particular person, so we cannot delete them individually.

Notification data. OneSignal retains a push subscription and the device push token for as long as notifications remain active. Turning notifications off removes the subscription, and clearing Vibe Tycoon's storage or uninstalling the app removes the device registration from this device. Receipts of notifications we have sent are retained by OneSignal for a limited period under its own retention terms.

Advertising. Vibe Tycoon stores no advertising data itself. Google retains ad-serving and ad-revenue records under its own retention policy and its own privacy terms. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier through Android Settings, and Google provides its own controls for the ad data it holds.

To request deletion of purchase-service data, contact us at the address below. We will identify and forward the request to RevenueCat when applicable. Deleting purchase-service records may prevent a purchase from being restored. Google may require you to manage or request deletion of its records directly through your Google account or its privacy controls.

Withdrawing consent

Rewarded advertising is always your choice: no ad plays unless you ask to watch one, and declining costs you nothing except the optional in-game reward. Because ads are never shown automatically, opting out is simply not watching one. You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier and limit ad personalization in Android Settings under Privacy, Ads; ads may then continue to be shown without personalization. You can turn gameplay analytics off at any time in the app's Settings with the “Share anonymous gameplay analytics” switch. While it is off, the app sends no analytics events at all, and it stays off until you turn it back on. Purchase-service processing is necessary when you use purchase, entitlement, or restoration features.

Where applicable law bases other processing on your consent, you may withdraw that consent through the contact below. You can stop future communication from the installed app by uninstalling it, but that does not delete records already held by RevenueCat or Google; use the deletion route above for those records. Withdrawal does not change processing that was lawful before withdrawal and may make purchase restoration unavailable.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy and its "Last updated" date if the app's data practices or shipped third-party services change. The policy in effect when you use the app describes the practices for that version.
