PAPI started as one person, copy-pasting between two AI chats.

Before PAPI was a product it was a habit. I would write a task spec in one AI chat, paste it into another to build, then paste the result back to review it and decide what came next. I was the glue between the plan and the work.

Doing it by hand showed two things. A structured handoff made every build noticeably better. And the loop, plan then build then review then learn, was the part worth keeping. Every piece of PAPI traces back to something I did manually first. It was discovered by building, not designed up front.

I spent years on the business side of mobile games, most recently running ad monetization at Sandsoft. Now I build my own products by prompting AI, and PAPI is the system that keeps a project coherent as it grows and as the plan changes. It is the tool I needed and could not find.
